Facial and frontal stretching: Facelift
Face and neck lift: this cosmetic surgery is for patients who notice, as time goes by, facial dropping and flaccidity, as well as the appearance of a certain accumulation of fat in the neck, crudely known as a double chin. This intervention is usually performed on men and women over the age of forty. It consists of repositioning and placing the facial tissues in their original position through an incision close to the ear. It also allows for the correction of the accumulated fat of the double chin and the so-called “strings” on the neck through a small incision on the chin. Dr. Javier Collado usually fills the fatty deposits that have been disappearing with age, such as the nasal-labial folds or the cheekbones, thus allowing for the recovery of a more youthful and fresher appearance. One of the aims of this intervention is to recover a well-defined line on the edge of the jaw, which is one of the true signs of youth in a face.
Forehead or frontal lift: this intervention is specifically designed for patients that notice their eyebrows have fallen or they have a lot of wrinkles in their forehead. With a frontal lift, we raise the position of the eyebrows and the forehead is stretched further. Dr. Javier Collado performs this intervention in two ways. The endoscopic frontal lift, which is performed by making small incisions in the scalp and introducing a camera and the instruments through it, or the open frontal lift, which allows us to cut the size of the forehead in terms of each patient’s needs.
