Chin augmentation or reduction<\/h2>\n

The insertion of a chin implant can take between 30 minutes to an hour. During the surgery, the doctor selects the most suitable size and design to enhance the appearance and inserts it into the pocket above the center of the jawbone. The small incision to create the pocket and insert the implant is made from inside the mouth (along the lower lip) or beneath the chin.<\/p>\n

Usually, the chin is taped after surgery to minimize discomfort and swelling. Stitches are removed between five and seven days after surgery. If the incision is intraoral, the stitches dissolve.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
